As a strategic PR company, since its inception, PLD has focused on exploring, preserving, and creatively reinterpreting cultural and historical heritage. Respecting history, PLD reintegrates diverse cultural elements and expresses them through innovative approaches, striving to maximize the brand value of each project.
From 2003 to 2013, PLD was a strategic partner of China’s top 10 real estate companies, including Vanke, CITIC, China Overseas, China Resources, China Merchants, and Kingkey. Following their development across China, PLD established six branch offices and managed projects in major Chinese cities.
In 2014, as an investor and operator, PLD collaborated with the Bolton Museum (UK) to host an Egyptian archaeological exhibition in Shenzhen, featuring 213 cultural relics, including the mummy of Ramses II. Until 2024, this exhibition remained the largest and most prestigious Egyptian-themed cultural exhibition in China.
From 2015 to 2024, PLD collaborated with the Shenzhen Cultural Expo and Shenzhen Concert Hall to present exhibitions at the concert hall for nine consecutive years under the concept “Art Exhibition in the Concert Hall.” Exhibitors included the Dalí Foundation (Paris), the JACOROSSY FOUNDATION (Rome), KPM Royal Ceramics (Berlin), Italian fashion artist Philip (Milan), natural photography artist Carlo Toma (Apulia), and Yonit Werber, a best-selling Israeli author of children’s financial education books. These exhibitions were highly praised by art enthusiasts and gave rise to new cooperative projects.
Starting in 2023, with the strong support of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Culture Department of the Puglia Region Government, and the Cultural Relics Exchange Center of China’s Cultural Heritage Administration, PLD collaborated with multiple Italian museums to co-create Apulia Felix – Greek Ceramics and Apulian Art and Culture Special Exhibition and Underwater Archaeology and Greek Monsters Exhibition. These exhibitions were shown in Nanjing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Hainan, attracting over 1.5 million visitors and being recognized as among the most popular international exhibitions.
In addition to the exhibitions, PLD, the Puglia Region Government, and the host city governments organized a series of cultural and economic promotion events, including the “Power of Culture” forum and forums on heritage protection, urban development, underwater archaeology, and intangible cultural heritage in Guangzhou and Chengdu. Leveraging these exhibitions, PLD focuses on building new bridges, creating opportunities for dialogue, exchange, and shared growth in cultural and economic development between Chinese and Italian cities.
From 2022 to 2025, integrating the expertise of Chinese cultural project investors, Italian digital art teams, and Italian creative artists, PLD acted as collaborator and co-producer to organize immersive digital exhibitions of Van Gogh, Monet, and Mozart in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanjing. Under the management of the Chinese investment team, these projects achieved significant success, representing another successful integration of Italian artistic creativity with Chinese investment and commercial operations.
